As of the 1st of May 2009 Justcuttin' was averaging over 5,400 visits per month and growing. The growth in popularity of this site has been steady since its inception in January 2007.
With the economic climate at present Justcuttin' is an economically effective form of advertising. Just take a look at our prices and decide for yourself.
The month of April 2009 was our best month ever attracting over 1.000 more visits than the previous month. That's a growth rate of just under 20% in a month. But it gets better, since January 1st 2009 the increase in traffic has jumped 44% in four months and attracts two and half times more traffic than the same time just twelve months ago. April 2009 attractated 6,524 visits, 46,598 page openings and 472,176 hits. That's just in one month!
So what is the difference between a hit, a visit and a page opening?
From my very first Newsletter two years ago I have always made it clear to everyone, that I prefer to quote my traffic as Visits. The reason is simple, it is the most accurate. It is simply the number of people who visit the site. So here's the definitions.
Hit - A hit is simply a file. A web page consist of photos, buttons etc. One photo is one file, so on one page you could have a number of files or "Hits". |

Page Opening - A page Opening is exactly that. It tells you how many pages have been opened on your web site.
Visit - This is the one that you really want to know about, this is the number of visits to your site. One visit could generate multiple page openings and even more hits. So if someone quotes their website traffic as hits ask the Question "Do you mean Hits or Visits?" |
