sale barn update (29th july 2008)
There's a few new additions to the slae barn this week. And one horse sold. The Broodmare section has four new additions. A mare by Bar Doc Hickory out of a Wagon Cook mare is being offered by David Smith on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland. Kellie Taylor has a Doc's Argyle mare pregnancy tested in foal to Highbrows Doctor. This mare has placed in Maiden and Novice Drafts and is a full Sister to an NCHA Futurity placegetter. The other two mares are one bay mare by Doc's Durack, who is a son a Doc's Spinifex. And a palomino mare by Blackburn Junior.
David Smith is also offering a 2009 Futurity prospect. This filly is by Pepto's Stylish Oak out of a Doc's SPinifex mare. We now know how successful this cross is. In the yearling section David is offering a showy litle colt by Reining Stallion LIL YELLA JACIT (IMP). This colt has lots of Peppy San blood and well worth a look for the cutting arena.
The rising three year old filly by Malanda's Playboy has been sold and the DVD's have been flying thick and thin through the post for a few of Mature cutting horses listed at the moment. Jimmy Bartels has mentioned that his horses have created quite a bit of interest.
Finally keep a look out for the exciting new On-line Auction section coming to the sale barn. It will be up and running by the end of the week and our first auction will be a Stallion Service Auction with the proceeds going to a worthy cause. I'm sure this concept will take off and be as successful as the Sale Barn. Don't forget if you want to put a video copy of your horse in the Sale Barn it is possible for an extra fee. Good luck to all the Buyers and Sellers out there. Anyone who can't wait until the end of the week to find out more about the Auction can contact me at admin@justcuttin.com.au
