one thousand a week!
I know... I know.... you're getting sick of hearing it, but I have to announce another milestone for justcuttin' . After June being the best month ever, June 30th being the best day ever, Justcuttin' has for the very first time attracted over One thousand visits in a week. The seventh day of the week isn't over yet so the exact figures I can't give you, but at the time of writing there have been 1041 visits, 7515 page openings and 45601 hits. That's just in the last week. We have had a couple of new additions to the sale barn and classifieds pages with two sales.
Carol from Del Rio Quarter Horses has informed me that she has taken a deposit for her Peptos Stylish Oak colt, Freckles Stylish Oak, who was in the weanlings section. Also sold is the Overo Paint Filly Can't Buy Me Love in the two year old section.
I am constantly getting emails of thanks for the response Sale Barn advertisers are getting from their ads in the Sale Barn. Here are some examples.
"We had a heap of calls from this website thanks"
"The buyer saw the add on your website and called within a couple days."
"The enquiry from your ad sold the horse. So thanks for that I think your website is becoming very popular and I have recommended it to a few people for you".
"Thanks once again! Could you please mark Gay Bar Poco Lena as sold please".
"Just letting you know that the two mares I had advertised have been sold. They are the two on the broodmare page as a package deal. Thank you once again for a great service"
These horses were sold by a $10 ad on a little cutting horse website. Not a bad alternative to those expensive magazine ads. There are also some quality horses still available for sale in the Delta Quarter Horse stud Production Sale, including the dam of the future Neverending Story in foal and with a foal at foot, both these foals will be elligible for the $30,000 incentive offered by Buffalo Ranch.
But the Sale Barn is not the only part of Justcuttin' that represents value for money. Those banner link ads to your left and right ... just $50 per year .... that's right $50 per year. For those dozens of people who have indicated interest in using this advertising option I will soon be limiting the numbers on this and increasing prices. Go to the stud book ... those ads, $50 per year..... the classifieds FREE! or for an extra $10 you can add photos. If you wish to become a sponsor of THE LOUNGE ROOM that option is still open for 2009. Contact me for the details. Incidentally for those of you who are having problems viewing the videos, I am working on the problem. And finally where are all those trainers???? This site is not just for advertisers. I am constantly updating the site with News items as well as working on extra peices for the Profiles Section. History Section and the Lounge Room. These are and will be work in progress for the lifespan of this site. And the lifespan of this site? It is all reliant on sponsorship. The more popular the site becomes the more expensive it is to keep on-line. So sponsorship is very important to keep this site alive.
Campdrafters are also welcome to forward information to this site. There are many people who partake in the sport of Campdrafting and Cutting so I welcome any information from participants in that area also. As mentioned last week the clubs section is an endangered species. I thank the handfull of affiliates who have contributed to this site, but these affiliates are a small percentage of the total that are out there. If affiliates wish to forward information they are most welcome but it will only be posted as newsworthy items..... unless I get an influx fron clubs in the next few weeks.
OK thats it for now and hopefully the end of self backpatting and now it's back to the job in hand.... making justcuttin' even more popular.
