MORE SOUTHERN CROSS CUTTING CLUB NEWS (27th May 2008)
The Southern Cross Cutting Club event scheduled at Tumut affiliated on June 14th and 15th has been moved back to the 28th and 29th of June due to cattle supply problems. The Program will commence with a Futurity Preworks on Friday followed by $3500 Novice in the afternoon. The remainder of show program will be run on Saturday & Sunday.

This weekends show at Yass is going to be huge with 85 Preworks horses on the Friday followed by 205 show runs during the weekend. This is proof to other clubs that you can successfully hold one show over two days and still pull in enough numbers to cover costs and maybe make a little extra to put back into the club coffers. It also gives everyone who comes along the opportunity to have a beer or two at the end of the day. Now you gotta be happy with that.
