Sixty one horses will compete in Semi Finals of the Derby at this years NCHA Summer Spectacular. The total score of 427 was the cut off point and don't worry a few Aussie's managed to get through to the next round.
Ed Flynn on Stylish Little Bow heads the field of Aussie's totaling 434.5 and finishing equal 4th. He also finished equal 12th on Cherry Chex Dually totaling 433. Roger Wagner tied equal 21st with Dual N At Noon with a total score of 431.5. John Mitchell finished equal 24th on Peptos Stylish Miss their total was 431. Sean Flynn finished equal 35th riding This Kats King 429.5. He also tied in 36th place with Pepto O'Lenas Dually. John Mitchell's 2nd ride for the semis will be Sarah's Super Cat totaling 428.5 and finishing equal 43rd. Darren Simpkins is the last of the Aussie's to make it through he scored a total of 427.5 riding Dual Gen and finishing equal 52nd. Peptos Stylish Oak has one filly in the semis Peptos Stylish Sue, she finished with a total of 430 to be equal 28th.
Kiwi Clint Allen finished equal 7th riding Special Nu Kitty (433.5) and equal 36th with Peppers Stylish Cat. (429). The results for the semis should be known by Monday Morning AES Time.
