141 Horses have made it into the next round of the Open Derby event being held at the NCHA Summer Spectacular in Texas. Of those 141, 13 horses will be ridden by Aussies.
John Michell is in equal 6th place riding the Peptoboonsmal mare, Peptos Stylish Miss with a score of 218. Ed Flynn is in equal 14th with Cherry Chex Dually - 217, he is also in 18th spot with Stylish Little Bow - 216.5. Roger Wagner is in equal 27th with Dual N At Noon, along side Sean Flynn and That Kats King - 215.5. Wayne Robinson is in equal 35th riding Little Lizzie Rey - 215. Sean Flynn has another horse in equal 50th, Pepto Olenas Dually - 214. Aaron Wheatley is in equal 62nd place riding Red Like That along with another John Mitchell mount Sarahs Super Cat - 213.5. Grant M Simon is in equal 75th spot on A Smooth Solution with Darren Simpkins and Dual Gen and Wayne Robinson Rey Never Mind - 213. Finally in equal 113th we have Guy Woods riding Gimme The Dough and Ryon Emerton on Magmifi Cat both scoring 211. Kiwi Clint Allen has two rides in the 2nd Go Round with Special Nu Kitty in equal 6th and Peppers Stylish Kat in equal 75th.

Some Kinda Sweety who is by Sweet Lil Pepto and ridden by Shannon Hall. Peptos Styltylish Oak has three progeny into the next go round, KR Cat Man Due equal 20th (216), Peptos Stylish Sue equal 35th (215) and BS Peptos Hickory equal 113th with 211.
The 2nd Go -Round is due to commence shortly with the semi finals being run on Saturday and the Final Sunday.
