BQHCA Western, Cutting and Team Roping show a sure hit
The Charters Towers Dalrymple Equestrian Centre will definitely be the place to be on August 23 when the inaugural Global Welding Supplies and BQHCA Western, Cutting and Team Roping Show commences. With a total of over 100 cutting nominations for their club and NCHA affiliated events spectators will be in for a real show. The opportunity to see the moves of a fully trained cutting horse with lightning fast reflexes is one not to be missed.

As well as the covered arena action, the Charters Towers Dalrymple Equestrian Centre Outdoor Arena will also host the first Western Show in Charters Towers for a period of time.

With the Western kicking off at 8.30am, Cutting at 10.30am and team roping performances at lunch and dinner time. The NCHA Affiliated classes will run into the evening. Entry for spectators is free, Triple t radio from Townsville will be at the event throughout Saturday providing music and live crosses. Kelly Tassone a local Charters Towers performer will provide entertainment from 8pm.

The cutting judge, Richard Prew's expertise will be shared with those lucky enough to be attending his two day cutting clinic following on from the show. For $50 per person per day on Sunday 24 and Monday 25 August cutting enthusiasts can sit and learn from one of Australia’s more prominent cutting competitors.Richard has competed in a number events including the NCHA Futurity and has won over $100,000 in prize money in the cutting pen.
