The W.A.Cutting Horse Association Inc. has been in operation since the early 1970's and holds shows and training days throughout most months of the year excepting June. We have our own grounds at Gingin which is approx 1 hour north of Perth. The grounds are only a few years old and are constantly being improved and they currently consist of a permanent arena, horse yards including 5 designated stallion yards, horse wash bay, cattle holding facilities and shaded spectator seating. We share a large communal shed with the Gingin Horsemans Association and also an abolution block with hot showers. We don't run a canteen so club days and shows are a BYO everything arrangement. We have a communal BBQ on Show Saturday nights with each family bringing a plate of salad to share. We are fortunate to have a good supply of cattle from Cullalla Feedlot, situated 15 klms from the grounds. Some of our members make the 10,00 klm round trip to Tamworth each year to compete at the NCHA Futurity Show. Cutting in WA is quite small so wherever possible the W.A.C.H.A. works in conjunction with the other cutting clubs in the state so show days don't clash.
