Rick Kickham has been in the horse industry for some 30 years and is a well know face around the cutting pen. He is known by one & all for his diverse skills. With experience in the Thoroughbred industry riding track work to being a jockey, Saddle Bronc riding, Roping, Breeding, Breaking in, Starting, Training and showing many great cutting horses. These cutting horses have been shown at Aged Events, Open Company and in Non Pro Classes competitively. A life time of experience with this depth is hard to find. Rick is available to share his knowledge and skills with you.

Based 8 km from Toogoolawah, in the scenic Brisbane Valley , he is taking horses to Start, Train and Show in Cutting and other Performance Horse disciplines, as well as holding Horsemanship and Cutting Clinics. Specializing in training cutting horses for Non-Pro's to show. Taking time to show them how to ride & show their horse to the best of their ability.

Having been consistently doing Clinics for the past 4 years all over Queensland , from Sturat to Nebo, Mackay and Collinsville to the Atherton Tablelands. Introducing many new people to the cutting industry and helping improve people's general horsemanship skills.

Rick prides himself in making sure everyone gets a “fair go” and everyone goes home happy having learned something new and improve themselves and their horse. Clinics are kept to a maximum of 10 riders. During the clinics Rick takes the time talk while demonstrating all aspects of Basic Horsemanship, Starting out a cutter, training a cutter, working the machine effectively, working a cow and last but not least how to show your horse. Rick presents all his clinics in a fun manner. That is easy to understand & learn. Rick is always available to answer any ones questions and help out with any issues people are having with their horses.
