As the show season picks up momentum after the holiday break so does the emergence of clinics run by some of the best trainers the country has to offer. Whether cutting, drafting or challenging are your things there is something on offer for everyone starting next month.
	Rob Hodgeman Clinic 6th-7th February
Big River Cutting Club have organised a Rob Hodgeman clinic next month at their arena at the Copmanhurst showgrounds. As of late last week there were still some spots available. Entries will be received by post only with full payment sent with the booking. There will definitely be no phone bookings accepted. If you cancel you must find someone to take your place or money will not be refunded. Camping will be available and must be paid for with booking at $10 per night. We need to know ahead on camping so that we can get the gas organised for the showers if needed. If no one books camping there will be no hot water. The costs are, $157.50 per day for riding positions this includes the NCHA levy for insurance. If you are not an NCHA member you will also have to pay a $5.50 day membership on top of this. $25 per day for fence sitters. 	Jason Leitch Clinic 6th - 7th February
There will be a Jason Leitch Clinic on the 6th and 7th of February at "Lakota View" which is on Railway Rd Booyal (5 mins off the Bruce Hwy) The Contacts are Deb Pavy 0410535511 or Leaone/Richard Munn railwayringer@activ8.net.au . There is one maybe two places available at $380 for the weekend , and fence sitter posi's are still available at $50 per day. Powered camping facilities available... power etc . Everyone involved with this clinic are extremeley excited about this event as it will the first in the area. The arena construction is well underway with the first load of sand being delivered just a few days away. The organisers are hopeful this will be the first of many.
A Horsemanship, Cattle working and Campdraft Clinic with Ian Francis and Pete Comiskey is being held at Booroondarra, Middlemount. Ian Francis will be on between the 23rd and 26th of February followed by Pete Comiskey on the 27th and 28th of February. Costs are $800 for Ian Francis $400 for Pete Cominsky or $1200 for the full clinic. Whether you do campdrafting, cutting, reining or challenges, there will be something for you at this clinic. Ian will cover dry work, reining and cutting over 4 days, and Pete will follow on with campdrafting for 2 days to finish off. Please do not send cash in the mail. Cheque or money orders only. Positions are limited, so only full payment will secure your spot. ***Make cheques payable to : “ Booroondarra Pastoral Company ” * Send to : Marni Baker “Booroondarra” MIDDLEMOUNT 4746 Any places not secured by full payment of fees by 12 February 2010, will be given to those on the waiting list. In the event a rider is unable to attend, every effort will be made to help find a replacement. If a replacement rider cannot be found, money will only be refunded if there are sufficient paying fence sitters. Please note, there will be no canteen** People are welcome to camp. A BBQ, food heating facilities, showers and cold room are available if required. We have limited yards available so let me know if you want one, or you can set up electric fencing.
And finally if Stockmans Challenge is your thing there will be a Stockman's Challenge Judging Clinic Facillated by Ian Francis, John Arnold, Doug O'Neill, William Tapp & Huon Smith.
