The successful running of a show whether it is a week end show or a futurity comes down to the combination of a number of factors. Generally the feedback that I have heard after the running of last week ends Armidale futurity has been nothing but positive. This event was the result of hard work and the passion for cutting of the Eastern Falls cutting events small team of, Mark and Tracey Watt, Bill Cox and Kathryn Magnuson. But they would be the first to admit that if it wasn't for the support of the local Armidale community this event would not exist.

The new indoor arena is the direct result of the Armidale Show society trusts confidence and support of the Armidale futurity. Hopefully, as a snowball effect this new shed will now also attract other equine events into the local community.

The day after the Armidale Futurity Bill Cox received this anonymous email in his mailbox.

I just wanted to let you and the Eastern Falls team know how much I thoroughly enjoyed the weekend of Cutting. I would prefer to remain anonymous, but do want everyone to know my thoughts.

Although I am not a Cutter, I would consider myself a respected person in the equine industry.

The people I was with and myself, were all amazed at the magnificent new facility there at Armidale. It is something that will enable the horse people in the area to provide a much wider variation of training sessions, competition days and so on.

My sincere congratulations to the Armidale Show Society, and especially to Eastern Falls Cutting Events for making the most of such a fantastic facility, and adding all of the professionalism that you and the team do.
